During its 30 years of company history, WESSAMAT was honoured multiple times as innovative, high-performance and service-oriented enterprise. Innovative research and development projects have been promoted and awarded by the federal ministry as well as the state government of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Beside state institutions, also superordinated associations, dealership networks and customers have assessed and honoured WESSAMAT’s product quality and service orientation on the basis of various criteria. This is credibly documented by the most important awards from the past years.
Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses
Wessamat Eismaschinenfabrik GmbH, based in IG Nord, was awarded the 2018 Medium-Sized Business Grand Prix, Germany's most important medium-sized business prize.

In the bounds of the survey carried out every 2 years since 2010 among members of the trade association of gastronomy and industrial kitchens “Fachverband Gastronomie- und Großküchenausstattung e.V.”, WESSAMAT has always been among the 3 best suppliers in the category “Machinery and Equipment”.

Success
WESSAMAT was honoured multiple times by the Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz for the development of innovative and energy-efficient technologies for the production, storage, filling and packaging of ice cubes and crushed ice.

In the bounds of the most important competition for medium-sized enterprises “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes”, supported by the Oskar Patzelt foundation, WESSAMAT Eismaschinenfabrik GmbH was honoured multiple times in the past and has also made it to the nominees list in 2017.
